  1. Connect via cross serial cable the firewall to the PC.<\/li>\n
  2. Open PuTTY, go to Serial<\/strong> section and set the following parameters:\n

    • Baud rate: 115200<\/li>\n
    • Data: 8 bit<\/li>\n
    • Parity: None<\/li>\n
    • Stop: 1 bit<\/li>\n
    • Flow control: None<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Click on “Open<\/strong>“; will connect with the firewall.<\/li>\n
    • Press F12 to select a different boot device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
